A couple of years ago I made ‘Captured beauty’, a painting with a butterfly trapped by its own beauty. I always felt happy with the result. But while I was working on my painting ‘Diversity’, with all the colored butterflies, I thought that this painting would also be stronger with a more colored species. So I decided to transform the painting. It was exciting to paint over the white butterfly, but in my opinion it worked out well. The white butterfly is gone and a colorful one took its place. I also made the glass of the bottle more bright and changed the cocoon. Now I feel totally happy with it.
